Reporting Project Metrics

Project Tracker.Net, a Web based project management system, simplifies the reporting of project metrics within status reports, with categories including:

• Budget
• Staffing
• Schedule
• Scope
• Customer Expectations
• Risks
• Critical Issues

By default, all these categories are marked Green. However, if there is an issue in a category, it can be marked as Yellow or Red depending on its severity. The user must also provide a description of tha issue. These metrics are used in the generation of project dashboards.
